Manage variants, SKUs and inventory

Use variants for choices such as size or colour. Each variant can have its own price, SKU and stock quantity.

Step by step

1. Open a product and enable its variant options. Enter the choices customers need to select.
2. Review each generated variant. Set its price, SKU and inventory quantity rather than relying only on the main product price.
3. Enable inventory tracking if purchases should be limited by available stock. For variant products, edit quantities on the variant rows.
4. Save, then visit the product page and select each option to check the displayed price and availability.

Before you finish

Changing or removing variants can affect products already linked to promotions. Review those promotions afterwards. If the editor reports that variants changed elsewhere, reload before editing again.
