02 — First visit
Buyers see your default first, then choose their own.
On a buyer's first visit, your store opens in your default language, whatever language their browser is set to. A language menu in the header lets them switch, and their choice is remembered on that device, so they aren't switched back on the next visit.

03 — Translated
What's translated, and what's yours.
JomJual translates the storefront itself: product page labels, the cart, checkout and order status. What you write isn't translated: product names, product descriptions and homepage text appear exactly as you wrote them in every language, so write them in the languages your buyers read. The default text for your Shipping, Returns and Contact pages comes in all four languages, but once you edit a page, your text shows in every language.

- Your product names, descriptions and homepage text: as you wrote them
- Starter-kit text: English and Malay only

Questions sellers ask.
Which languages are available?
English, Bahasa Melayu, Chinese and Tamil. You switch each one on or off in Language Settings, and choose one as the default.
Does it translate my products?
No. Product names, descriptions and homepage text show exactly as you wrote them in every language. JomJual translates the storefront's own labels and buttons, not your content.
Which language do buyers see first?
Your default language, on their first visit, even if their browser is set to another. After a buyer chooses a language from the menu, their choice is remembered on that device.
Do I have to turn on all four?
No. Turn on only the languages you want. At least one must stay on, and the default has to be one of the languages that are on.
