Connect reporting tools with read-only API keys

Grow stores can give a reporting tool scoped access to orders, products and inventory.

Step by step

1. Open Settings → Integrations → Read-only API keys. Give the key a name that identifies the connected tool.
2. Select only the access it needs: orders:read, products:read or inventory:read. Create the key.
3. Copy the key immediately and store it securely. It will not be displayed again.
4. Open API documentation for supported endpoints and authentication details. Review Last used to check activity.
5. Revoke a key when you stop using a tool or believe its secret has been exposed.

Before you finish

These keys are read-only and do not let the tool edit products or fulfil orders. Revocation stops the connected tool immediately. Never put API keys in storefront code or public links.
