Payouts and finance: settlements, withdrawals, and bank setup
How settlements work
Every paid online order creates a settlement. Settlements move through four statuses: Pending (order paid, awaiting fulfilment) → On Hold (order marked Delivered, 3-day hold starts) → Available (hold expired, ready to withdraw) → Withdrawn (included in a payout).
Funds are released from On Hold to Available automatically after the 3-day hold — the release job runs hourly, so there may be up to ~1 hour lag after the hold ends. You do not need to take any action.
How your net payout is calculated
Net payout = order total − payment gateway fee − 2% platform commission (on product subtotal minus discount) − JomJual's actual courier cost (not what the customer paid for shipping).
Setting up your bank account
Bank details are configured from the Finance page (in the sidebar Manage group) — click the bank account link from that page. Bank setup is not accessible from the Settings page or the sidebar directly. There are 20 supported Malaysian banks. You must fill in all 3 fields (bank name, account number, account holder name) before withdrawals are enabled.
Withdrawing your balance
The minimum withdrawal is RM 10.00. The Withdraw button is disabled if your Available balance is below this threshold or if bank details are missing. Each withdrawal sweeps your entire Available balance into a single payout — you cannot withdraw a partial amount. Your bank details are snapshotted onto the payout at the time of withdrawal.
Payout statuses
Once submitted, a payout goes through: Pending → Processing → Completed or Failed. Withdrawals are processed manually, so funds typically reach your bank account within 2–3 business days of your request. If admin rejects a payout, your settlements return to Available. You can view your full payout history via the Payout History button on the Finance page.
Refunds and your balance
If a refund is approved after you have already withdrawn funds, the refund does not claw back the completed payout. Instead, the refund amount is deducted from your next Available balance, which can go negative.
- Self-managed orders (flat/free shipping) have no automatic tracking — the order must be manually marked Delivered before its settlement moves out of Pending.
- The 3-day hold applies whether delivery is marked manually, in bulk, or automatically via EasyParcel webhook.
- Bank account number is masked (last 4 digits) in the Finance UI; the full number appears in the CSV export.
- The Finance page is in the sidebar Manage group.
