Processing and fulfilling orders
Order statuses and tabs
Every order moves through the following statuses: Confirmed (paid) → Processing → Shipped → Delivered. Cancelled and refunded are terminal statuses. The Orders page has tabs matching these stages:
- To Process — confirmed and paid orders waiting to be processed.
- To Ship — orders in processing, awaiting shipment.
- Shipped — orders with a ship date stamped.
- Completed — delivered orders.
- Abandoned — unpaid orders that were auto-cancelled (see below).
Processing a courier order
Select one or more orders in the To Process tab (up to 50 at a time) and click Process Order. JomJual books and pays EasyParcel, generates an Airway Bill (AWB), a printable label, and a tracking number, then moves the order to Processing. You can then print the label and hand the parcel to the courier.
Processing a self-managed order
For self-managed shipping tiers (own delivery, in-store pickup, free shipping), clicking Process Order moves the order straight to Processing without booking a courier. No AWB or tracking number is generated. Print Labels and Copy Tracking do nothing for self-managed orders.
Marking shipped and delivered
Click Mark as Shipped to stamp the ship date and notify the customer by email. Click Mark as Delivered to stamp the delivery date and start the 3-day payout hold on the settlement. You can also bulk-update to shipped or delivered from the order list. Courier orders can advance automatically via EasyParcel tracking webhooks (approximately every 2 hours).
Shipping address edits
You can edit a customer's shipping address from the order detail page only while the order has not yet shipped. Once marked shipped, the address is locked.
Digital products
Paid digital product orders auto-complete on payment and go directly to Completed. They never appear in the To Process tab.
- Unpaid orders are auto-cancelled by a background sweep every 15 minutes and moved to the Abandoned tab.
- After an order is marked delivered, the settlement enters a 3-day hold. Funds are released to Available automatically — the release job runs hourly, so there may be up to ~1 hour lag after the hold ends.
- Cancelling an order before shipment restores inventory (for tracked, non-preorder products) and auto-refunds the customer for online-paid orders.
- Shipping address edits are locked once an order is marked as shipped.
