What's New: WhatsApp Notifications, Digital Products, Volume Pricing & More

It's been a big couple of months. JomJual now sends notifications over WhatsApp, sells digital products, rewards bigger baskets with volume pricing, lets you ship orders yourself, wins back abandoned carts automatically, and gives you a Help Center in English and Bahasa Melayu — plus a long list of smaller upgrades and fixes.
This is our biggest release since launch. If you only have a minute, the three features most merchants have been asking for are WhatsApp notifications, digital products, and Buy More Save More pricing. Everything else makes your store easier to run and harder to lose a sale on. Here's what's new.
WhatsApp Notifications
In Malaysia, WhatsApp is where messages actually get read — so that's where JomJual now sends them. The moment a customer places an order, you get an instant WhatsApp alert on your store phone. No more refreshing the dashboard or missing an email buried in your inbox.
Your customers get looped in automatically too. They receive an order confirmation right after checkout, and a shipped notification with their tracking number and courier when you send the parcel — all on WhatsApp.
Instant new-order alerts — sent to your store phone the second an order comes in. It's a separate switch from email, so run both or just WhatsApp.

Speaks your customer's language — messages go out in English, Bahasa Melayu, Chinese, or Tamil based on your store's language.
WhatsApp notifications are included on JomJual's free plan. Open your dashboard and turn them on in Settings — no monthly fees, no credit card required.
Sell Digital Products
You can now sell anything downloadable — ebooks, online courses, design templates, Lightroom presets, printables, or access links. Mark a product as digital, paste in your delivery link (a Google Drive or Dropbox file, a course login, anything), and add optional instructions.
After payment, the customer gets their link instantly on the order confirmation page, in their email, and from their order lookup page whenever they need it again. Digital-only orders skip shipping entirely — customers just enter their email and pay. No couriers, no addresses, no fulfilment.
Buy More, Save More
Reward customers for buying more with quantity-based pricing. Set a special bundle price for a certain quantity, or take a percentage or ringgit amount off each unit — and apply it to specific variants or the whole product.
Customers see their savings update live on the product page as they change the quantity, and the savings line carries through to checkout and their receipt. It's a simple, proven way to lift your average order value.
Ship Orders Yourself
Not every merchant wants a courier integration. Maybe you deliver locally, hand off at a pickup point, or use a courier we don't connect to yet. Self-managed shipping lets you create your own delivery option with a flat rate — or set it to RM0 for free shipping.
Customers see it labelled “Arranged by seller” at checkout. You process the order, add your own tracking details, and mark it shipped. Full control, no EasyParcel required.
Win Back Abandoned Carts — Automatically
Most shoppers who reach checkout and leave never come back on their own. Now JomJual brings them back for you. When someone gets to checkout but doesn't complete payment, they automatically receive a friendly reminder — one straight away, and a follow-up a day later — each showing their items and a one-click link to finish ordering.
It runs quietly in the background with no setup. Shoppers can unsubscribe, and you can switch it on or off per store in Checkout Settings.
Your Week, Every Monday
Every Monday morning, active stores get a short email recapping the past week: store views, unique visitors, paid orders, total revenue, and your top-selling product. A quick pulse on how the business is doing — without opening the dashboard. Turn it off anytime in Settings.
A Help Center in English & Bahasa Melayu
There's now a Help Center built right into your dashboard, with step-by-step guides on shipping, processing orders, payments, payouts, and more. Articles follow your dashboard language automatically — English or Bahasa Melayu — so help is always in the language you work in. A public help centre is live on jomjual.my too, for shoppers and anyone sizing up the platform.
Smarter Vouchers
Vouchers now apply themselves. The moment a customer enters their email at checkout, every eligible voucher — including personal, per-customer, and first-time-buyer offers — applies automatically. And if a better deal becomes available as the cart changes, the customer is told about the swap, so they always pay the lowest price they qualify for. Fewer abandoned carts from “I forgot my code.”
More Improvements & Fixes
A pile of smaller upgrades landed across the dashboard and storefront:
Track by order number — customers can track using their JJ-XXXX order number or the courier tracking number, and email links open the tracker automatically.
Real-time shipping updates — shipped emails now carry a working “Track Your Order” button, and customers are notified the moment the courier reports a parcel in transit.
More reliable finance — every paid order now appears in your Finance section without fail, your earnings correctly subtract EasyParcel shipping costs, and CSV exports show your familiar JJ-XXXX order numbers.
Richer order emails — your new-order email now lists items, delivery address, and courier, so you can pack without logging in.
Singapore shipping, simpler — just enable an SG-capable courier in the Couriers tab and Singapore checkout opens automatically; no separate tiers needed.
Checkout trust signals — a secure-payment badge, your return window, and accepted payment methods now show at checkout, in the customer's language.
Storefronts honour your default language — your store opens in the language you choose, not the visitor's browser guess.
Guided first product — new stores get a quick step to publish their first product right after setup.
Image slider block — add an auto-playing carousel to your homepage for promos and lookbooks.
Theme polish — set heading colours independently from body text in the theme editor.
Sign-in fix — opening the dashboard from inside Instagram, Facebook, or Threads no longer breaks Google sign-in.
