What's New: Grow at RM99, Agents, a Customers Page & Shipping That Pays Its Way

whats-newproduct-updateschangelogfeatures20 October 2026 · JomJual

Since our last roundup in June, JomJual has a simpler rate card, a new Grow plan at RM99 a month with a 0% platform fee, a way to run your own agent network, a Customers page, and shipping that charges what couriers actually bill. Refunds, returns and stock are easier to keep straight too.

If you only have a minute, read the first three sections: what you pay, Agents, and Customers. The rest of the post covers shipping, refunds, store setup and a few changes you should know about. Every item is live today, and the changelog has the full list with dates.

What You Pay, in One Line

Since 15 September, every store is on the same published rate card. You pay a 5% platform fee on each successful order, never more than RM99 in a calendar month. A month with no sales costs RM0, and there's still no monthly subscription to open a store.

If your sales are bigger, Grow is now a prepaid plan: RM99 for a month or RM990 for a year, which gives you two months free. While a paid period is active, your platform fee is 0%.

  • Same lines for everyone — payment processing is 2.5% (minimum RM1.50), COD orders have a RM2.00 handling fee, and the courier rate is charged plus RM0.75 per shipment. These still apply on Grow.

  • No surprise renewals — Grow never renews by itself. We email you 7 days and 1 day before a period ends. When it ends, you're back on the free plan, your store stays online and you owe nothing.

  • What Grow unlocks — new custom-domain connections, loyalty rewards, vouchers from the Customers page, live-rate shipping adjustments, order webhooks, API keys and Agents.

Founding stores keep Grow features free until 28 January 2027. Pay any time from the Plan tab in Settings if you want 0% from that day.

Agents: Run Your Ejen and Stokis Network

Many Malaysian brands sell through resellers, from stokis who buy in bulk to ejen who dropship to their own customers. Until now, that usually meant price lists on WhatsApp and orders tracked in a spreadsheet. The new Agents section puts it all in your dashboard.

  • Your tiers, your names — create tiers such as Ejen or Stokis, each with its own discount off retail and minimum order.

  • Agents order like buyers — approved agents sign in with an emailed code and see their tier prices. They can choose Restock to me, or Ship to my customer to dropship. With dropship, the end customer never sees agent prices.

  • Optional commissions — you can pay commission on sales through an agent's referral link, and on purchases by agents they bring in, up to 3 levels. JomJual keeps track of what each agent is owed. You pay them from your own bank, then mark them paid.

Agents are part of Grow. You run the programme as its organiser, so you're responsible for keeping it within Malaysia's Direct Sales and Anti-Pyramid Scheme Act 1993. Open your dashboard to set up your first tier.

Know Your Customers

For most small brands, repeat buyers bring in most of the sales. The new Customers page shows you who they are.

  • Automatic groups — buyers are sorted into four groups. Loyal means 4 or more orders, Returning means 2 to 3, and One-time means a single order. Slipping away means they came back before but haven't ordered in 60 days or more.

  • A profile for every buyer — each one shows their order history, how often they reorder, and a one-tap WhatsApp link. You can also export the whole list as a CSV.

  • Email consent at checkout — buyers can tick an optional box to hear from your store by email. It's unticked by default, and they can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Vouchers that bring people back (Grow) — give one buyer a single-use voucher, or email a voucher to a whole group. Group vouchers only go to buyers who said yes to marketing email.

Loyalty rewards on Grow also got more reliable. Points are now earned on every paid FPX order, including ones confirmed late, and taken back correctly when an order is refunded.

Shipping That Pays Its Way

Charging RM8 for a parcel the courier bills at RM12 eats your margin quietly. This release closes that gap.

  • Real parcel weight — checkout quotes the courier rate for the cart's actual weight. That's your product weights times quantity, plus the new Box + wrapping weight setting. The quote is held for the buyer's address for 15 minutes, and if rates change before payment, the buyer sees the new price first.

  • Live EasyParcel rates in your tiers — each shipping tier can be a fixed price or follow the live EasyParcel rate. On Grow, you can add a handling fee, a markup, rounding, and free shipping over an amount you choose.

  • See what shipping costs you — Finance has its own Shipping column, and every order shows the shipping collected next to the courier cost. A banner warns you if couriers charged you more than buyers paid over the last 30 days.

  • Free-shipping nudge — if you offer free shipping above a minimum spend, the cart and checkout show buyers how much more to add.

  • Steadier bookings — Process works again for stores hit by an EasyParcel change in September. When a courier issues a tracking number late, pressing Process again later records it without charging you twice.

Add a weight to every product for the most accurate quotes. A product with no weight is quoted at 1 kg, and live rates need a weight on every published physical product.

Refunds and Returns You Control

  • Refund requests you approve — buyers ask for a refund from their order page. Before anything moves, you see what it means for the customer and for your balance.

  • Unshipped cancellations, refunded in one tap — when a buyer cancels a paid order you haven't shipped, Approve & refund sends a full refund straight away, with no return label.

  • Returns checked in first — record what came back, including how many units are sellable. Sellable units go back into stock, and damaged ones don't. Orders you delivered by hand can take a return without a courier label.

  • No more silent failures — if a gateway refuses a refund, the order shows the reason and a Retry refund button. A refund is never paid out twice.

Sell From Chat, Faster

  • Checkout links — pick products and quantities, then send a link that takes the buyer straight to checkout. Prices and stock are always live, and you can make a link expire or revoke it at any time.

  • Edit unpaid orders — if a buyer changes their mind before paying, change quantities or remove lines, and preview the new total before you confirm.

  • Share from day one — after your first product, you get a copy link, a WhatsApp share button and a printable QR code for parcels and flyers.

A Store That Earns Trust

  • Store pages — switch on About us, Shipping & delivery, Returns & refunds and Contact us pages. Each starts with text built from your real settings, so review and edit it to match your policy. Add the public contact details you want shown, and your footer links them. Your pickup phone and login email are never shown.

  • Starter kits — new stores pick what they sell and start with a matching theme and a three-block homepage that's ready to edit.

  • Hero controls — choose banner height, image fit and image position, for desktop and mobile.

  • Featured products fill themselves — an empty Featured products block now shows your newest products.

  • Change your store URL — pick a new yourname.jomjual.my address. Every old link redirects to it permanently.

Keep Your Catalogue Straight

  • Stock history — every stock change is recorded, including who made it and why. A mistake can be reversed without rewriting history.

  • No more overselling — two buyers can't both buy the last unit, and carts are capped at what's actually available.

  • Bulk groups with Undo — add up to 100 products to a group at once, and undo it if you change your mind.

  • Safer imports — CSV imports show exactly what will change before anything is saved, and search now covers both name and SKU.

  • Archive, don't erase — deleting a product keeps its order and stock history, so past refunds and reports stay intact.

For Developers (Grow)

Grow stores can send signed order webhooks for paid, shipped, delivered, cancelled and refunded orders, with automatic retries and replay. You can also create up to 5 read-only API keys to pull orders, products and inventory into your own tools. Both live in Settings → Integrations.

Changes You Should Know About

  • WhatsApp alerts are paused — we're rebuilding WhatsApp messaging on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. Until then, order alerts and buyer updates go out by email. When WhatsApp messaging returns, it will be part of Grow.

  • Ad pixels count each purchase once — Meta, TikTok and GA4 now record a purchase only when an order is paid, and only once. Your ad dashboards may show fewer purchases than before, and those counts are now accurate. If you use TikTok's Events API, the server event is now CompletePayment.

  • A small JomJual line in store footers — store footers now end with Powered by JomJual · Create your own store – free.

  • A simpler dashboard home — it now opens on what needs doing today, with money shown in Malaysia time. The Store Visits tile has been retired.

Smaller Upgrades and Fixes

  • Order confirmations and new-order emails now arrive exactly once, even when the payment gateway's notification is late.

  • Vouchers can be edited until they're used, limited to Malaysia or Singapore deliveries, and typed codes work at every store.

  • A sale can never leave your balance negative.

  • Cancelled or refunded orders can't be shipped by accident.

  • Digital orders complete even when payment confirmation arrives late.

  • Custom domains, including subdomains like shop.yourbrand.com, verify cleanly. www and the main address now redirect to one version.

  • Cart-recovery reminders never send twice.

  • The dashboard has a fresh look, and the Help Center has 31 guides in English and Bahasa Melayu.

  • Selling on TikTok Shop? Our free fee calculator compares TikTok's 31 October fees with your own JomJual store.

Everything above is live now. Open your dashboard to try it. You can open a store for free, with no monthly fee and no credit card required.
